Could this scanned photo from the latest issue of German car magazine, Autobild, be providing us with our fist look at the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Gullwing? Hard to say, but we reckon that even if the photo has been digitally tampered (aka Photoshoped), what you see here shouldn't be too far off from the production car that's slated to hit showrooms in the spring of 2010. The SLR McLaren's replacement that is being developed in-house by Mercedes-Benz's AMG division, will be powered by a front mounted 6.3-liter V8 engine producing 571 HP.
According to a previous release from the Stuttgart-based automaker, the SLS AMG should hit the 100km/h (62mph) mark from standstill in 3.8 seconds and reach a top speed of 315 km/h or 196 mph.
