LA Show: 2010 Infiniti G37 Sedan Receives Minor Styling Upgrades

In a special pre-show event that took place in Beverly Hills, Infiniti launched the subtly updated 2010 G37 sedan which will go on sale in the U.S. next January. For 2010, Infiniti's best-selling model has received a mild exterior makeover with tweaked front and rear fascias accompanied by a refreshed interior and upgraded technology features.

The most prevalent changes have been made to the front end which gets new headlights and grille along with a reshaped bumper. In addition, the front fog lights have been moved from their previous location in the headlight cluster to the lower fascia on the corners of the front bumper.

Two new color options (Smoky Quartz and Graphite Shadow ), a revised rear bumper with a different exhaust treatment and the new 17-inch alloy wheels with P225/55R17 tires on the G37, G37 Journey and G37x AWD models, pretty much complete the exterior changes.

Inside, along with the upgrades to the navigation system and the optional packages, the 2010MY G37 features a new white color scheme for the gauges and LCD instrument display, new trims and a revised lower center console design for the models equipped with an automatic transmission.

For 2010, the Infiniti G37 will continue to be offered with a 328-horsepower 3.7-liter V6 engine coupled to a 7-speed automatic transmission, or in the case of the G37 Sport, a 6-speed manual gearbox.

The 2010MY G37 will make its public debut at the this week's Los Angeles Auto Show.
